Honeymoon: Cinque Terre, Lake Garda and Aosta Valley

Imagine being married for just a few days, with a small wonder of just one year who stirs in the back seat of your car. Now imagine being on a journey for an unforgettable adventure, a honeymoon trip that will take you through Italy. Yes, this is the story of Vanessa and me, back in September 2014.

Traveling with young children can seem like a challenge, but in reality it can be an unforgettable experience for the whole family. A honeymoon trip with children can be a unique opportunity to create unforgettable memories and share new adventures together.

Cinque Terre

Our first stop was at Cinque Terre, where we were enchanted by the beauty of the coast and the delicious local specialties, we stayed there for three days. Cinque Terre is one of my favorite places in Italy. These five villages along the coast of Liguria offer breathtaking landscapes and a unique atmosphere. Walking along the path that connects the villages is an exciting experience, with vineyards, rocky beaches and sea views. Each village has its own unique personality and the cuisine and cultural traditions are exceptional. I recommend visiting Cinque Terre for an unforgettable experience between nature and culture.

Here are some activities to do to fully enjoy your visit to Cinque Terre:

Activities
Walking along the famous Love Way
Boat trip to admire the Cinque Terre from the sea
Visit the Cinque Terre National Park

Lago di Garda

In the second stop, we moved towards Lake Garda, where we spent some unforgettable days, admiring breathtaking sunsets and enjoying the natural beauty of the region.

Lake Garda offers many opportunities to spend an unforgettable holiday in any season. Spring and autumn are perfect for admiring the natural beauty of the lake, while summer is ideal for bathing, water sports, and fun on the beach. In winter, on the other hand, you can experience snow activities and thermal tourism.

Here are some activities to do to fully enjoy your visit to Lake Garda:

Activities
Take a boat trip on the lake
Visit the city of Sirmione and its Scaliger castle
Go on a hike to the Catullo caves
Visit Gardaland, one of Italy’s largest amusement parks
Visit Caneva Aquapark, a water park surrounded by nature

Valle d’Aosta

As the third and final stop, we were in the Aosta Valley, where we explored the picturesque mountain villages and enjoyed the extraordinary panorama of the Alps. Our little one was having fun discovering new places, while Vanessa and I felt like we were on top of the world.

Here are some activities to do to fully enjoy your visit to Valle d’Aosta:
